Joe Mc
Joe joined the hairdressing industry in 1989,and within just a few short years, his talent had made a considerable impression on the local and national hairdressing industries. Twice nominated for Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year he won the much-coveted title of British New Comer of the Year (at the time, the only Northern Irish hairdresser to have garnered such an honour). This accolade coupled with success in the prestigious L'Oreal Colour Trophy competition, brought him to the attention of hair product companies and he hosted many shows and seminars for industry leaders such as Schwarzkopf, Sebastian, Tigi and L'Oreal. With his reputation firmly established, his expertise was much in demand, enabling him to work across film, television and advertising as a session stylist, with his work being published in magazines as diverse as Hairdressers Journal and Marie Claire. Having worked across the creative industries Joe has styled the hair of many actors and performers, notably Ciaran McMenamin, Vass Anderson, Eddi Reader and David Holmes. Ever evolving as a creative artist himself, Joe was recently asked to work as a session stylist at New York and Milan fashion weeks. working on collaboration's with fashion designers Alexander Berardi, Luisa Beccaria, Gabriele Colangelo, and fashion companies Falls Designs and La Perla.
